The very definition of a classic pendant, Orbit No.1 brings together 28 colourless, triple excellent cut diamonds. The space between is kept to the very minimum, as is the gold that holds them securely in place. This reveals more surface area and magnifies the reflection of light. The incredible attention to detail, made possible by our industry-leading production technology, extends to the parts people don’t see. Using the traditional ajour technique, we cut a perfect geometrical form at the base of each diamond. This finest of finishing touches ensures the back of the pendant meets the same impeccable standard as the diamonds themselves. Most diamonds are graded from Poor to Excellent on official GIA (Gemological Institute of America) cut grades. Montluc, by contrast, only ever uses the very finest standard of quality that goes one step further. Two, actually.

While most gold pendants are cast, Orbit No.1 is sculpted from a solid 18k pd135 gold bar, which is up to three times harder.
